John Greene, Chairman of the Board
One of the founding investors in the Aeroguard Group and the current Chairman of the Board, John has more than forty years experience as a senior partner at Ernst & Young (formerly Clarkson Gordon). John led Ernst & Young’s National Tax Department and was a tax partner in the firm’s Winnipeg office. John was also an owner of Metropol Security, formerly one of the largest privately-owned Canadian security companies and a predecessor to the Aeroguard Group. John is a Chartered Accountant and has been recognized by the Manitoba Institute as a Fellow. John provides strategic expertise and stewardship to the Aeroguard Board of Directors.
Jane Greene, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer
Aeroguard is led by President and CEO, Jane Greene and supported by a strong and experienced executive team. A trained Chartered Accountant, Jane joined Aeroguard in April 2005, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the service industry to the firm’s management team.
Jane’s commitment to managing Aeroguard as a “people business” sets the company apart from its competitors, giving its employees a sense of value and ownership in providing an essential service for its clients.
Jane is an accomplished business leader and strategist with expertise in service and knowledge-based industries. Before joining Aeroguard, Jane held the roles of President and Chief Financial Officer of Carlson Wagonlit Travel Canada, including specific responsibility for managing customer relationships. Jane was instrumental in ensuring Carlson managed the aftermath of 9/11. Under her steady hand of leadership, the company was named by MacLean’s magazine as “One of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.”
Paul Moore, Director and Secretary of the Board
As the former Executive Vice-President and Chief Business Officer with the Aeroguard Group, Paul was responsible for strategic planning, business development, communications, quality management, labour relations and information technology. Earlier in his career as Executive Producer for Canwest Global’s Canada.com internet site and working with the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), Paul helped to develop the start-up operations and creative design for numerous technology projects. Paul brings a wealth of experience in communications, innovation and management expertise to the Aeroguard Board of Directors.
David Moore, Director
In his current role as President of Leo Burnett Advertising Agency, David has been instrumental in the achievements of Leo Burnett Canada’s three successive years of financial growth, increasing employee satisfaction results, more than seventy-five international creative awards and rating as the most effective advertising agency in Canada. Previously as a Senior Executive with Leo Burnett for the past 18 years, David has been responsible for managing several national and global advertising accounts with international brand recognition. David’s proven leadership and creative background is invaluable to the Aeroguard Board of Directors.
Patrick B. Haney, Director
A well-known and regarded leader in the industry, Patrick has held numerous senior positions in sales and security services. Previously with Metropol Security, Voice-Tel Communications and Brooks Equipment Sales, Patrick has also served as Executive Director of the Economic Development Authority of Whitesell in Manitoba. Patrick’s strong roots and historical perspective of the security industry is an important addition to the Aeroguard Board of Directors.
